My completed magazine cover has a clear and organized layout that is the same as my draft cover. I decided to change the main image to a male figure as the splash is 'New Head Boy' and I think that a male figure fits better. I chose to use one subsidiary image as when I tried putting two on the cover it looked cluttered and the images themselves looked too small for the rest of the magazine. I used Photoshop to remove the background of my main image and decided that for my subsidiary image I would keep the background. I kept the same font throughout the magazine cover and I thought that it worked well because it was a type writer style. I kept to the colour scheme that I first chose with the black and yellow but decided that my images would look better in colour as black and white imaging is seen more on music magazine covers.
You have used Adobe InDesign design your cover successfully, Alice. The basic layout and design is conventional and you have included the relevant aspects of a magazine cover such as masthead, pug, sell lines, main image, etc. Take more care if you remove the background for your main image of the music magazine.
